IVP Designs
These people are the force behind the shirt. A friend at IVP stopped to eat at George's cousin, Steve Martorano's  famous restaurant in Fort Lauderdale, Cafe Martorano-got talking with Steve about George and was inspired by what he heard. George teaches "Creative Writing" classes within the walls at Coleman Federal prison.  George copes with the "caged" world by teaching, others caged with George cope by being taught.
Ahoodie
These shirts are currently being featured on the Ahoodie website. They too just ran a contest with the "Coleman Creative Writing" T-shirt as a prize.
FREE GEORGE MARTORANO
Read some of George's latest writings and letters - creative to say the least - why let this talent be "caged" any longer

Message: I'm extremely aware of the broken legal system in America. But I've never heard of a sentence like this! Another first time marijuana offender is Gary Brooks Waid, who was sentenced to live in a federal prison for 9 years, but who was traded to the state of Florida where he witnessed "more crime by guards than I saw in all my years as a smuggler." His dynamic 'Smuggler's Tales of Jails' is at http://www.angelfire.com/la/kaylee/tales.html My heart goes out to everyone doing time for the plants.

Our prayers are with you.I am very impressed with your positive accomplishments in both writing and teaching. Keep the faith; hopefully, freedom is right around the corner for you.

Message: George, My heart goes out to you and your relatives. I have written to the President. You have served way to many years for a non-violent crime. I will pray for your freedom....which I hope will come real soon.

Message: Georgie, I'm so glad Lorraine gave me this web page. It was so good seeing the pictures of you after all these years. I have written the President and I also emailed Dateline and 48 Hours hoping one of them will pick up this story. You are certainly the true "Survior". We will continue to pray and support your freedom in hopes of this happening asap. God Bless Love Joann

Message: My Dear Friend George, I'm now on line. I received your latest letter. Shortly you will receive a postcard. I send my warmest wishes and Jennifer 's along with our prayers for your next step towards freedom. I just read Regina's letter to you on 1/9/04 and also your cousin Alexandra's letter. I am at the present time sitting in a library in Medford,NJ not far from my girl friend's house. Maybe after the Labor Day weekend, Pat & I will venture to Longboat Key for a visit at her stepdaughter's home. At which time it would be appropriate for me or for both of us to visit you, while we are in the area. Was the horse named after me, in your last letter? George, I will, in the near future, be in contact with Mr Bush & the Attorney General in the ongoing persuit to have your sentenance overturned which is long overdue. I was happy to see that Ritchie & your cousin Steve and so many others have taken an interest in having your life turned around. You are truly loved by many. Keep the Faith. Keep writing those wonderful stories. I am about to purchase whatever is available of your writings. My prayers go with you. A dear and old friend, but still young at 62. God Bless. More later. Sincerely, Hank Mancuso

Message: I implore you to release this man. Use his cell to make room for the violent criminals who commit heinous crimes against innocent victims. Keep the murderers, rapists, and thieves behind bars. Make them an example, not George.

Name: Lynette De George-Guinta
Date: 02/24/04
Message: On August 17, 1967 my father, Robert De George was shot and killed outside of the Teamsters' Local 107 Union Hall on Spring Garden Street in Philadelphia. That was the day before his 32nd birthday. His assailants, Rocco Torra and then Pres. of Local 107, Frank Sheeran were indicted for his murder. They were both acquitted due to the "loophole" "denied the right to speedy trial". This has always been indeed (for me personally) the most despicable and sickening form of a travesty of justice. Georgie, the same injustice is upon you. It makes me sick. I am going to write a letter to the president and I will do anything else I can to help you. (Yes, I do know who Torra and Sheeran's lawyer was. Lawyers don't make the laws and/or the loopholes, they just play the game.) On a personal note, I am married to Mike "Blondie" Guinta. He says hi. We both want you know that we are praying for you and that "we believe", miracles do happen!

Message: our government is wrong the dea is comprised of a bunch of criminals.(though im sure there are good people hiding there)in the days of the old west lawmen sometime straddled the law and outright broke the law when the law did not benefit them financially.I see not much has changed.the cia ,dea.and other alphabet cops would lose there ungoverned and non regulated funds if the war on the people was to end today.thats why they do wrong so they can do more wrongs.the war on drugs must end and the illegal incarceration of our fellow americans must stop.free george now!!!!!

This is a blogspot of a student of George's "Creative Witing" class. Sure shows what a great teacher George really is. Just another reason of the 1000's that George should not spend one more day "caged".
LETTERS NEEDED NOW
We need letters supporting George's release. We are hopeful that Mr. Black will have George in the courts VERY soon. Letters addressed to the court supporting the release of George after 28 years of incarceration could and should weigh in heavily. I don't need 2-3 page letters... just a paragraph or two on the fact that "enough is enough."
