IVP Designs These people are the force behind the shirt. A friend at IVP stopped to eat at George's cousin, Steve Martorano's famous restaurant in Fort Lauderdale, Cafe Martorano-got talking with Steve about George and was inspired by what he heard. George teaches "Creative Writing" classes within the walls at Coleman Federal prison. George copes with the "caged" world by teaching, others caged with George cope by being taught.
Ahoodie These shirts are currently being featured on the Ahoodie website. They too just ran a contest with the "Coleman Creative Writing" T-shirt as a prize.
FREE GEORGE MARTORANO Read some of George's latest writings and letters - creative to say the least - why let this talent be "caged" any longer

Message: Non violent crimes and first offenders should not be doing maximum penaltys. $40,000 per inmate per year is a big business on a life's expense.

Message: George is such an inspiration to others in prison. My father who was once a physcian is there with him and without George I know my father would have died. Let these men out who have done nothing that no one else has ever done but have never gotten caught.

My son is also incarcerated for a first time offense for 8 years with not a hair on anyone's head touched. Where is the justice in our systems? God Bless you George for all you have endured, I will pray you get out of there soon. Certainly this can not be legal???

Message: I agree that non-violent, low-level and/or first time offenders should receive a reprieve from their sentences. Another prime example is Floyd A. England an inmate at El Reno, OK now serving his 19th yr of a 40 yr sentence. His petitions can be signed at either of these web sites; http://www.supportcommutationgrants.faithweb.com (or) http://www.petitiononline.com/fae2009/petition.html All signatures will be greatly appreciated and viewed as a ray of hope for his commutation also.

Motivate Melee This is a blogspot of a student of George's "Creative Witing" class. Sure shows what a great teacher George really is. Just another reason of the 1000's that George should not spend one more day "caged".
LETTERS NEEDED NOW We need letters supporting George's release. We are hopeful that Mr. Black will have George in the courts VERY soon. Letters addressed to the court supporting the release of George after 28 years of incarceration could and should weigh in heavily. I don't need 2-3 page letters... just a paragraph or two on the fact that "enough is enough."
